Dairy-Free Creamy Soup Base

Note: using 4 cups water with 4 bouillon cubes creates a thicker sauce and using 6 of each creates a thinner soup base.

4-6 cups boiling water (use as many bouillon cubes as cups of water)

4-6 bouillon cubes or 4-6 tsp bouillon powder (see above)

1 cup cooked brown rice or 1 cup heavy coconut milk

1 cup raw cashews

2 cloves garlic

Favorite seasonings to taste

1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice

Blend the above ingredients in a large, high-speed blender. Add this creamy base to soups, veggie stir fry’s, pasta, rice dishes, etc.
